Operation Christmas Child Underway!
“Operation Christmas Child,” a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse under the leadership of Rev. Franklin Graham, is now underway. The Morehead First Church of God is very optimistic in reaching our goal of 10,000 shoeboxes this year. We are the collection center for this area serving 10 counties. These shoeboxes will reach children in over 100 countries around the world. Children will not only receive a shoebox of gifts but the gospel presented to them in their language. We encourage you to join us in filling these shoe-boxes as a church, organization, or as an individual. Shoeboxes can be filled with school supplies, toys, hygiene items, hard candy, or a personal note to the child that receives it.
